JoMar-Silk Records recording artists, The Real Brown Sugar and Renea Mitchell. "Sugar" sung Proud Mary with The Rhythm All-Stars and "Toe It Up, From The Floe Up." During Jeffrey Osborne's performance of "The Woo Woo Song," Jeffrey looked for cowd participation and called on Renea (why did he do that) Mrs. Mitchell rocked the crowd with her pure, almost angelic vocals (the crowd went crazy!) While she was singing, Jeffrey complimented her to the crowd: "you can sing." After the show (behind the scene), Mr. Osborne's background singer complimented Renea on her performance!
On to Mr. Osborne. WOW, I remember him from LTD (Love, Tenderness, Devotion), however this man is in a class by himself. Jeffrey Osborne is one of the most underrated soul singers of our time. He is truly "One in a Million."
